About This Waterfall
The waterfalls on the Snoqualmie Tree Farm are accessed from the Spur 10 gate along the North Fork road north of North Bend. From North Bend, head north on Ballarat Avenue which later becomes North Fork County Road. Just under 4 miles from town, bear left (uphill) onto the fork signed as a dead end. After about 10 miles the road will cross the North Fork on the Wagner Bridge. About 500 feet past the bridge the road will cross a broad gravel wash with the falls just upstream.Wagner Falls is a small waterfall along an even smaller stream which can be found just off of the North Fork Snoqualmie Road near the Wagner Bridge. The stream drains from a narrow gully immediately east of Big Creek and likely does not flow for more than half of the year. However the steep nature of the gully has proved problematic for road engineers over the years, having repeatedly sent debris flows across the road and flooded many times to wash out culverts. As a result, a large alluvial fan runs upstream from the road to the base of the falls, making it easily visible from the car. When surveyed in early 2011 we didn't have a lot of time so we only examined the lower 25-foot tier of the falls, but we know there to be at least two more tiers just upstream and suspect a much larger fall may be present as well. This waterfall is not known to have been named at any time, so we refer to it after the nearby Wagner Bridge spanning the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River.
