About This Waterfall
Topographic maps suggest a long series of steep cascades along Walton Creek with a vertical drop of perhaps as much as 300 feet, however there is little evidence to suggest whether or not there is actually a legitimate waterfall within the canyon at this point. Imagery available on Google Earth makes it appear like the canyon is filled with steep boulder cascades and if there is a bedrock induced waterfall it is likely to be smaller. As the falls are not easily accessible due to private property restrictions, it may not be easy to determine exactly what is going on here.
