About This Waterfall
There are two separate waterfalls which occur immediately below the toe of the Alpetli Glacier (Kanderfirn) at the head of Gastertal, one drops about 700 feet and the other about 340 feet. It's not clear whether the name Wisistüber applies to both falls, or just one of them. The coordinates provided here is for the smaller of the two falls because that seems to be the more common waterfall associated with this name. We've opted to list the other waterfall as Kanderfall.
