About This Waterfall
Kevin Adams' second edition of his excellent North Carolina Waterfalls referred to this waterfall as Paradise Falls, but in the third edition he makes a correction that the appropriate name for the falls is simply Wolf Creek Falls. A waterfall called Paradise Falls is found on the Tuckasegee River near Tanasee Creek Lake, but the name had apparently been informally co-opted and applied to the falls on Wolf Creek at some point, and it ended up sticking.
