About This Waterfall
This waterfall drops down the northern wall of the same plateau that gives us the mighty Catarata Gocta. Together with nearby Catarata Chinata and Catarata Pabell贸n, there are four waterfalls well in excess of 400 meters. Yumbilla is relatively small with regard to flow, but it is also the tallest of the falls in the region. The falls are a series of consecutive horsetails and plunges that were laser surveyed by Peru's IGN (Instituto Geografico Nacional) and attributed a height of 895.4 meters, or 2,938 feet in height.
