Description

Description:

This natural spring water in Madron, England, is in a holy well, that has now been declared a historical landmark. It's more of a tourist attraction rather than a spring or some place where you can fetch water. Some sources suggest it's no longer public and is private, perhaps someone captured, not sure. It's accessible to the public, though. The water hasn't been tested for purity or chemical composition. People don't really consider it holy or drinkable anymore. So consume water at your own risk.

More details:

The water has a speedy flow and you can hear it from the road. Try looking for it after stepping out of your car. The spring is sometimes difficult to find and access especially if there's a lot of dense vegetation in the area and now one has cleared it.
