About This Waterfall

The Alpine Cascades are a formerly well known set of falls along Cascade Alpine Brook located just south of the town of Berlin. Though we are unsure of the exact makeup of the falls, there are at least three individual tiers, and potentially nearly a dozen distinct drops total in the formation. The height of the falls is unclear but the stream drops about 280 feet in a linear distance of about a thousand feet. It is unlikely that the falls represent that entire drop, and there is a possibility that there may actually be two distinct sets of falls in that stretch. Further investigation will be needed.
