About This Waterfall
The USGS placename database lists a Bear Creek Falls at the coordinates provided, but one meter lidar data shows absolutely no sign of a waterfall anywhere near this location. There may be a 10-12 foot fall along Bear Creek about a mile upstream, but if so it's a low angle series of cascades. There is also potentially a 30-40 foot tall fall along a very small tributary about a half mile north-northeast from the marked location, but it seems unlikely for this to be the feature which spurred an official USGS entry.
