About This Waterfall

Benson Falls is located along a small stream that drops into Eagle Creek a few hundred feet upstream of High Bridge. The falls are tucked deep in a recess in the canyon and the main drop cannot be seen from the Eagle Creek trail due to the surrounding trees. There is a small drop on the stream where it enters Eagle Creek, no more than 15 feet tall, but the main part of the falls is thought to be closer to 200 feet tall. The falls are definitely in close enough proximity to High Bridge that bushwhacking along the rim of the gorge is plausible, but the slope looks prohibitively steep, and I would not recommend this be attempted without climbing gear.
