The falls are short hike of about a quarter of a mile. There is a wooden sign at the base of the falls.Furnace Brook leaps over 3 successive cascades, totaling about 25 feet in vertical loss over a run of about 150 feet. The upper portions of the falls are obscured by encroaching branches and leaning trees, while the bottom tier is a clearly visible segmented cascade that comes to rest in a broad and shallow pool.
