About This Waterfall
This is the final waterfall along an unnamed tributary to Tanner Creek, which enters Tanner Creek via a 130-foot tall horsetail style fall which can be seen directly above Wahclella Falls from many places along the Wahclella Falls trail. Because the falls are seen in tandem with Wahclella Falls they are not usually thought of as significant in their own right - or are sometimes thought of as the "upper" part of Wahclella Falls itself (the upper tier of Wahclella Falls is actually tucked deeper into the gorge). This waterfall has no historically correct name, but has been long referred to as East Fork Falls in all editions of Greg Plumb's Waterfall Lovers Guide books. While the stream isn't at all the East Fork of Tanner Creek, it is a fairly established reference at this point, so until a more appropriate title is produced this will have to do.
