About This Waterfall
Elmer Falls has been significantly modified by a dam and hydroelectric facility adjacent to and on top of the falls. The dam creates Elmer Falls Pond, with the falls and powerhouse immediately on its outlet. The change in elevation from the top to the bottom of the hydro project is 37 feet, so postulating a height of 10-12 feet for the dam, the remaining natural falls should be about 25 feet tall.
