About This Waterfall
Falling Water Spring forms the tallest waterfall in the state of Florida where it plunges 67 feet into a sinkhole which has no above-ground outlet. While this waterfall is hardly impressive, in a state where the highest point is a scant 345 feet above sea level, this is a significant feature. Though the falls are spring-fed, it flows best after periods of prolonged rain.
