Grassy Lake Creek Falls

No Information available.Grassy Lake Creek Falls is located about 500 feet upstream from where its namesake stream merges with the North Fork Nehalem River, and should be easily accessible via little effort from the nearby road. The road (and falls) however lies on land owned by Longview Fibre and the nearest access point is gated just off of Highway 53. A sign at the gate indicates recreational use is permitted during daylight hours, but unless one can obtain a key to the gate it looks like it will be necessary to either hike or bike in to the falls - and at a distance of about 4.8 miles each way, a bike is probably the way to go. Be sure to exercise the appropriate caution when hiking on a tree farm and keep an eye out for commercial logging traffic.
