About This Waterfall

North Fork Falls is a nine-foot tall segmented cascading type waterfall along the North Fork Nehalem River found northeast of Manzanita. The falls occur in very close proximity to a major road, but when we attempted to field check this one we found the road to be gated and signed as private timber land. We didn't have time to check to see whether non-motorized recreational use was allowed, but if this is the case (and if the land is owned by Longview Fibre as is the case across the river), the falls can be found about a mile and a half upstream from the Highway 53 bridge over the North Fork Nehalem River.
