Starting from Nakusp, head north on highway 23. Cross the KBR Campground, then Mt. Abriel recreation area, and Ione falls, When you reach an intersection, take right, continue on the road, and you'll be at your destination in a few miles.

Remember that if you reached Halcyon Hot Springs Resort, on your left, you've taken a wrong turn. Return to that intersection and take the correct turn.

You'll get a lot of facilities here. This isn't just a paid hot spring. You can enjoy camping, where the camping area is allotted to the visitors on a first come first served basis. Apart from that, you can enjoy the main pools in the woods, which are separate small hot water pools.

Then there are river pools created in the river with a natural rock wall formation. You'll literally be in a river relaxing and enjoying.

Then the pools at the gorge demand a 7-minute hike to reach the spot. These are as the name suggests- pools at the gorge.

There are some waterfalls in the area and they've created water pools right there.
