About This Waterfall
Løfallfossen is effectively a permanently dry waterfall due to the river Sima being entirely redirected to the Sima Hydroelectric system upstream at Rembedalsvatnet. It would certainly flow should there be a release from the dam at the lake, but we've thus far seen no evidence that this happens (perhaps other than during periods of maintenance).
