About This Waterfall
Malan Falls is the major waterfall of Waterfall Canyon, found just outside of Ogden. The falls drop around 320 feet in a twisting horsetail off steep cliffs on the flank of Mount Ogden, making it one of Utah's tallest waterfalls. Though the falls drain from high up on a mountain which receives fairly heavy snow in the inter, very little water will flow in the creek in the summer months and the falls will be greatly reduced outside of passing thunderstorms.
