About This Waterfall
Meade Glacier Falls is the first waterfall along the unnamed stream, which I refer to as the Meade Fork of Conrad Creek, as it flows off of Gilbert Peak. The falls cascade through a formation of what looks like a mixture of volcanic strata and glacial till, carving a twisty canyon that the stream cascades for about 75 feet within. The entire waterfall can't be seen from any one location due to the twisting nature of the canyon, but most perspectives yield a good idea of how geologically interesting the area is.
