About This Waterfall
Meade Meadows Falls is one of four major waterfalls that occurs along what I refer to as the Meade Fork of Conrad Creek on the east slope of Gilbert Peak in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The creek drops over an exposure of the Goat Rocks Andesite, fluming down a 10 foot drop then widening and falling 15 feet further as the creek. The falls are located about 1/4 mile above the lip of the edge of the plateau housing Gilbert Basin, but can't be seen from the waytrail leading from the South Fork Tieton trail towards Cold Lake. This is, however, about the easiest waterfall in the Conrad Creek drainage to visit.
