About This Waterfall
Michele Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in Alberta. The falls flow almost immediately out of the Michele Lakes and drop over a 1000 foot tall headwall, though it appears half of the total drop occurs as a subterranean waterfall, with the water emerging out of the cliff face halfway down the escarpment. Close approach to the falls is very difficult and most commonly it is seen via helicopter.
