About This Waterfall
The easiest views of the falls are from along the Bow Valley Parkway just east of the Mule Shoe Picnic area in Banff National Park. The falls are almost 6km distant at this point. Closer views might be possible from the Bourgeau Lake trail. This waterfall drains from a small basin on the southeast side of Mount Brett along the unnamed middle fork of Wolverine Creek. Based on topographic data, the falls appear to stand about 600 feet tall, but because they cannot be seen up close with ease, a more accurate approximation of the true height of the falls has not yet been established by the WWD. The basin feeding the stream does not appear to harbor any permanent ice pack, so when the seasonal snow melts the volume of water in the falls should drop substantially from its late spring peak.
