About This Waterfall
Mud Creek Falls is one of the larger waterfalls found on Mount Shasta, but because of its location in a deep canyon, it cannot be closely approached. The falls drop around 150 feet over an exposure of bedrock amid a landscape otherwise covered in breccia and morainal deposits.
