About This Waterfall
Mürrenbachfall is one of the most prominent waterfalls in Switzerland's famous Lauterbrunnen Valley. The falls are commonly said to be 417 meters tall, however topographic maps suggest it may be a bit more than that - possibly as much as 480 meters in all. The difference in height appears likely to be made up in one or two smaller upper tiers which cannot be seen from the valley floor (they may not be visible from anywhere on the ground).
