About This Waterfall
Østre Tindefjellfossen is the unofficial name for one of a pair of side-by-side waterfalls which can be seen cascading into Bødalen from Tindefjellbreen near the parking area for trails which lead into Bødalsætra and Bødalsbreen in Jostedalsbreen National Park. Topographic maps of the area currently available online are not detailed enough to produce an accurate measurement of the falls, but the loose data available suggests the falls drop approximately 340 meters (1,115 feet) over a linear run of about 350 meters (1,150 feet).
