About This Waterfall
According to Kevin Adams' book North Carolina Waterfalls, this waterfall was originally known as Paradise Falls but the name fell out of use and became lost over the years, and eventually was colloquially (and incorrectly) attached to a nearby Wolf Creek Falls. It's possible this feature may have also been known as Anvil Horn Falls at one point.
