About This Waterfall

Prospect Falls is the first waterfall encountered along West Canada Creek below the Hinckley Reservoir as the stream begins its descent down Trenton Falls Gorge. During the majority of the year the falls are largely de-watered by the Trenton Falls Hydroelectric System, but during the spring months, or during periods of excessive precipitation, enough water may be present in West Canada Creek for the falls to flow with substantial force. At peak flow the falls can stretch to as much as 475 feet in width.
