About This Waterfall
Quartette Falls is one of the seemingly dozens of waterfalls which encompass the Thousand Springs formation along the Hagerman Plateau. The falls appear to be along the stream which originates in Bickel Spring, however it appears the majority of this stream has been siphoned off for use in the nearby Hagerman National Fish Hatchery. The falls do appear to occasionally flow, but with what sort of consistency is not known. Unlike the falls at Thousand Springs proper, Quartette Falls appears to have been left unmolested until the 1970s when the fish hatchery opened. Access to the falls is not known, but as the falls essentially drop into the Snake River the best views would be from a boat on the river.
