About This Waterfall
Spissbachfall is one of the numerous waterfalls which can be seen pouring into the famous Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland. The falls drop approximately 290 meters in a single leap, first horsetailing down the side of the valley wall, and then falling free for much of the second half of its descent, only to impact the side of the valley again before reaching the base of the falls. Spissbachfall can be seen in tandem with the more well known Staubbachfall just to the north from many locations in the valley.
