About This Waterfall

Twin Creek Falls is located approximately 6 miles south of the North Fork Campground, or 8 1/2 miles south of the junction of FR 28 and 23. There is a large turnout on the opposite side of the road from the falls, and the short trail leads to the base of the falls.Twin Creek Falls is a lacy veil that drops 91 feet that can be seen adjacent to FR 23 in the upper Cispus River drainage. Foreshortening of the top 2/3 of the falls makes this one look much smaller than it really is. During high discharge periods this is a moderately scenic waterfall but the small drainage area of Twin Creek limits its attractiveness to the snowmelt season. The falls do appear to flow for most of the year, but could run dry out during especially dry summers. Some time during the winter of 2014 several large trees have fallen between the road and the falls, which will at the very least make viewing the falls from the road (and in turn with the least amount of foreshortening) impossible without heavy obstruction. It appears to be considerably more difficult to walk up to the base of the falls now as well.
