About This Waterfall
Some sources suggest Whipples Falls was one of several minor waterfalls along the Merrimack River. It supposedly occurs below Pawtucket Falls, and if so this would mean it would have to be a minor series of rapids if anything. Another source suggests the falls are on the Concord River and there is a small waterfall a short distance upstream from its confluence with the Merrimack, so until further information surfaces, we will assume this to be correct.
