About This Waterfall
Whittier Creek falls several hundred feet in a series of cascades which originate from the western lobe of its namesake glacier, directly above the town of Whittier. Depending on the volume of water melting from the glacier the falls may appear as just a trickle, with the majority of the creek funneling down a chute which does not appear to harbor a significant waterfall.
