Description

Description
At around 105 degrees, water flows from metal pipes on a hillside. The pool is lined with rocks and can be accessed from the top of the hillside. It is large enough to accommodate 10 people. The cows can be seen grazing on the hillsides, the water is crystal clear and you can see the sandy bottom. You also have amazing views of both the valley and the mountains. Don't go on weekends.

Jemez springs: Follow highway 4 north to state route 126. Go west on 126 3 miles and then turn north up forest roads 376. A high clearance vehicle is required for this part. I have seen several small cars do it but wouldn't recommend it. It is located at the northern end of 376. If you do not want to take your car, it will be a 5 1/2 mile hike. You'll cross a stream on your right. Then, you will climb a steep hill to reach the springs.
