Description
An ever-flowing "Artesian well" spring is located northeast of Cherokee, Oklahoma, and provides a cool drink for travelers and a "fill-your-own-container" source of water for many homes of the area. This artesian well was and adjacent property were purchased by McDermott Living Trust, Brickman Estate in 2003. This natural water source is called the "Artesian Well of Highway 11". This well is located north of the Great Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. The main well was dug in 1954. Since then, the public has had free access to this clean water source. In 2003, the McDermott's established deVine LLC to distribute their water business. This was to keep the free service available to area residents and tourists while bottling and selling the better product. This slogan is based on this concept. "The water you drink is free... all you have to do is buy the bottle and delivery." News Channel 4 has a short video online. It also lists distributors at various locations throughout North Central Oklahoma and South Central Kansas.

General Description
This is a moderate-sized, lukewarm (not too hot) soak that's located on the wrong side Salmon River. Lunchbreak has a single pool with rock walls, a sandy or silty bottom and is where warm water percolates up.
Seasonal Notes
Pool buried under spring runoff. Access road closure during winter.
Camping Notes
There are numerous National Forest primitive sites within easy reach of the highway, as well as many official and primitive campgrounds along Highway 75. You will find large, flat spots above the pool with pit toilets.

The spring is well-known by locals, but Slovenia's tap water is clean. This is a country that has no water problems. It was found by chance while visiting Slovenia in 2010. It is mixed by small rivers, unpaved pathways,bushes, and local farmers.

The directions are: Take the Dolenjska Cesta from Ljubljana. It will turn into route 106. Continue on to Skofljica, 2 miles from Ljubljana. Pass through the Lavrica Village. Pay attention. Roads can be quite confusing, or even dangerously confusing if you are using American English. There are many twists and turns, so you need to find route 728 to Ig. As much as possible, keep to the right. You'll be on the right side of 728 after you turn. Continue on that direction. Turn left if you have more than 5 inches of clearance. After 1/4 mile you meet a mini river. To the left is a sticking up stainless still faucet with pouring water.
