About This Waterfall
Drivandefossen is one of three major waterfalls along the Åsetelvi as it tumbles down into Morkrisdalen from Åsetevatnet. The falls drop 48 meters in a single powerful plunging fall which soaks the surrounding landscape in a perpetual mist. This waterfall is often confused with nearby Krekafossen, which is a series of steep cascades in the gorge located downstream from Drivandefossen.
