About This Waterfall
Engstligenfälle is one of the more significant waterfalls in the Swiss Alps, dropping approximately 360 meters in total over a series of at least five distinct steps. The upper and lower tiers are the largest, dropping aboug 110 meters and 190 meters respectively. The remaining elevation change is made up in a series of smaller falls and cascades in a narrow gorge between the two major parts of the falls, most of which appears to be difficult to see from any vantage on the ground (or from the nearby Tram which runs to the top of the falls).
