Name of Waterfall

Middle North Fork Tumalo Falls

Description

The third of the four major waterfalls along the North Fork of Tumalo Creek is the smallest of the group, but this boastful plunge of 35 feet attempts to provide plenty of character to make up for its smaller stature. The fractured red-tinted volcanic bedrock makes for a colorful scene as it squeezes the falls into a narrow hourglass shape, and the deep azure pool below the falls contrasts very nicely with the surrounding geology.
