About This Waterfall
Navajo Falls was effectively destroyed in a massive flash flood in 2008. The falls formerly split into several channels spread out over a breadth of about 800 feet. All but one of these channels has been rendered dry thanks to Havasu Creek changing its course. There remains a roughly 50-foot tall falls on the creek near where the original falls were found, but the main part of the former falls (which dropped about 75-feet in a scenic veiling shape) no longer exists.
