About This Waterfall
Pilchuck Falls is a small waterfall along Pilchuck Creek which had served as a popular swimming hole in the past. In the summer of 2014 two people fell to their death at the falls (one a volunteer Search and Rescue member working to extract another injured person), and this has prompted the landowner to close all public access to the waterfall out of liability concerns. There may or may not be No Trespassing signs in the area - they reportedly keep getting torn down - but regardless public access to the waterfall is no longer allowed.
