About This Waterfall

This is likely a seasonal waterfall found in a side canyon of the Parachute Creek Canyon complex. The falls appear to be a free-falling plunge type waterfall of about 250 feet in height. The falls are within land which is actively mined for Oil Shale and Natural Gas deposits by several large energy companies (Unocal, Exxon and Shell among others) and is not thought to be accessible to the public.
