About This Waterfall

Brennegan Creek Falls are within the Entiat Valley, accessed off of Highway 97A, north of Wenatchee. Proceed north from Wenatchee along Highway 97A for 18 miles to the signed Entiat Valley Road (just south of the town of Entiat). Follow the Entiat Valley Road for 24 miles to where Burns Creek crosses the road. Watch carefully across the valley for the falls hurtling off an overhanging rock lip. It was easier for me to spot the falls when driving south from Silver Falls, as they can be seen from about 1/3 mile up the valley.Though the Entiat Valley is home to many waterfalls, only about half of them can be publicly accessed. Signal Peak Falls is one of the few waterfalls on the west side of the valley that can be readily seen from the Entiat River road, without even stepping out of your car. This fall, one drainage north of Grandma Creek, drops a sheer 300 feet down the mountainside, and can be seen moderately distantly across the valley from Burns Creek Falls. Unfortunately, as is the case at many of the falls in the valley, the base of the falls cannot be reached because both private land and the raging Entiat River lie in between the main road and the base of the falls. It is best to snap a few pics from the road and continue to the other, more accessible falls in the area anyway.
