About This Waterfall
Rjukandefossen is the uppermost of the waterfalls along the river Opo, but the exact size of the falls is difficult to determine due to how the river cascades down a steep, extremely narrow gorge. The uppermost part of the fall drops 13 meters into a trough, and then about 120 linear meters downstream begins tumbling down a steep series of cascades which drop an additional 200 meters. It's possible that these cascades should be classified as an entirely separate waterfall.
